Hi, I'm Gina Shaw, and I'm the keyboard behind Vagabond Media. I've always been passionate about the written word, and for the past ten years I've specialized in it as a professional writer, editor, public relations director, and media relations specialist. I'm also a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) and the American Medical Writers' Association (AMWA). 

My background includes:

• Several years as a senior writer, editor, and communications strategist with a major medical association; 
• Developing and running the media and communications department for a small, women's issues-oriented nonprofit organization; 
• Freelance feature writing for major newspapers, magazines, and Web sites; and 
• Speechwriting and ghostwriting for leaders of two national organizations.
